#FinLitLouisiana: JD Bank, BOM & Bank of Zachary

Editor's Note: #FinLitLouisiana is a way to showcase the many financial literacy programs and community projects going on around the state. When you post your photographs on your social media, please include the hashtag #FinLitLouisiana. We also want to highlight your financial literacy outreach programs and community projects by featuring your pictures. Send photos with captions to Jayme Foster at foster@lba.org.

(above) Bank of Zachary partnered with Central Private in an effort to introduce financial education to the students in a very unique and hands-on way—by opening an actual student-led, in-school branch that will serve students, staff and families of the school. A ribbon cutting was held in celebration of completing the construction phase of the project and there will be a branch grand opening held in the fall.
