American Bankers Association Courses Offered Through the LBA

Most of you are familiar with the American Bankers Association courses offered through the Association. Today many bankers are opting for the online ABA classes or holding an ABA class in their bank at a time more convenient for them than the publicly offered classes. These two options have been extremely successful and valuable to the banks and the bankers.

The key advantages of online or in-bank ABA classes include:

  • Customizationyou can have the class you want or need when you want or need it
  • Cost effectivenessyou can concentrate on the programs most valuable to your employees with no travel involved
  • Creditonline and in-bank ABA classes are ABA-credit courses that apply to diploma/certificate requirements; LBA will assist bankers in applying for diplomas/certificates at appropriate time

We at the LBA will help you arrange and register for the courses you need. We will make sure you get the ABA credit. For in-bank training, we can possibly help you find an instructor in your area if you do not have an in-bank person ready to teach.

Most of the time, for in-bank ABA classes, it will take 10 or more to be able to hold the class effectively. If your bank has a core group of five or more employees, we can help you communicate the course offering to banks in your immediate market area to get the numbers where they need to be. Imagine being able to hold or attend an ABA class in your own town without having to travel.
