Position Description
We currenlty have an opening for a Product Manager. The Product Manager will be responsible for enterprise-wide product planning and execution throughout product lifecycles, including gathering and prioritizing product and client requirements, collaborating with operations, sales, marketing, finance, and other risk/support areas to ensure revenue, strategic and client satisfaction goals are met. Includes ensuring the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. Facilitates all aspects of projects. Actively identifies product development opportunities by monitoring/researching market trends, innovations within the industry, and new vendors and startups. Required: High School Diploma or GED; Three years of related experience in banking; Experience with product management, and phases of the product lifecycle; Excellent team building skills; Good oral and written communication skills; Ability to professionally work alongside teams within the bank to achieve the institution’s goals; Ability to help motivate and generate enthusiasm/awareness as it relates to new products, corporate initiatives, etc.; Strong time management and analytical skills; Ability to perform basic profitability analysis of products; Strong organizational skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Knowledge of Agile development methodology; Business line experience in Mortgage, Retail Banking, and Commercial/Small Business Banking; Specific Job Functions: Lead cross-functional product teams in the development, implementation and launch of products. Drive definition, risk and financial analysis, and closure of new product requirements, implementation plans/schedules, and resource needs with stakeholders. Facilitate and drive Product Committee meetings with Executive and Senior Management, as well as product feasibility meetings with support areas on the Innovation Team. Actively seeks and evaluates ideas on product innovations, including from internal and external stakeholders, providing suggestions and feedback to the Product Committee. Design, track, communicate and actively implement plans for completion on approved products with the Product Committee and Innovation Team, including updating and distributing the bank’s monthly Roadmap document. Works closely with Marketing to move product closure forward, including the execution and design of product kick-offs and awareness campaigns, as needed. Implements and regularly updates the bank’s Product Manual, including working with Marketing, Retail and Training on product messaging. Works with Business Intelligence to conduct analysis on profitability of products, providing reports and product recommendations, including promotions, incentives and contests, based on the profitability analysis to the Product Committee. Participates in the execution of Voice of the Client (focus group) meetings, including the support of Marketing by driving the purpose definition, schedule and presentation of VOCs. Works closely with members of management with regards to new product development and implementation Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability. Performs other duties as appointed by management.
