Biography
Blane Clark is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller with more than 35 years of experience in handling complex industrial commercial transactions. He frequently represents banks and financial institutions in a variety of transactional matters, financings, and closing matters. He has extensive experience with loan transactions involving loan agreements and collateral documents involving real estate and other assets. Blane has assisted in the sale and purchase of hundreds of industrial, commercial, and medical businesses in the form of asset deals, equity deals, and mergers. Blane has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in Corporate Law and M&A and is listed as Lawyer of the Year in Mergers and Acquisitions Law in 2021. He is also listed among the top Corporate/M&A lawyers in the State of Louisiana by Chambers USA. Blane earned his J.D. from LSU Law Center and his B.S. from Louisiana State University.
