BATON ROUGE— Albert C. Christman, president and chief executive officer of Guaranty Bank and Trust in Delhi, was installed as the 2010-2011 chairman of the Louisiana Bankers Association during the 110th Annual LBA Convention & Exposition, held on May 12-14.
Christman succeeds Boyd R. Boudreaux, president and chief operating officer of Jeff Davis Bank in Jennings. As outgoing LBA chairman, Boudreaux will continue to serve for one year as immediate past chairman on the LBA board of directors.
The other 2010 – 2011 LBA officers are:
Chairman-elect: Reginald H. Smith, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Metairie Bank and Trust
Treasurer: Charles Timpa, president and chief executive officer of First Federal Bank in Lake Charles
Delegates to the LBA convention elected new directors:
-Southwest Region Representative: Daniel R. Domingue, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Farmers State Bank in Church Point
-Acadiana Region Representative: Patrick O. Little, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Teche Federal Bank in New Iberia
-Capitol Region Representative: Gary S. Littlefield, senior vice president of Gulf Coast Bank in Baton Rouge
-Central Region Representative: Randall M. Welch, president and chief executive officer of Southern Heritage Bank in Jonesville
Other LBA directors continuing to serve for the upcoming year are: Southeast Region Representative W. David Crumhorn, president of St. Tammany Homestead Association in Covington; South Central Region Representative Stevenson J. Lefort, president and chief executive officer of State Bank and Trust in Golden Meadow; Northwest Region Representative Thomas L. Martin, president of Gibsland Bank and Trust; Southeast Region Representative Michael E. Nolan, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Fifth District Savings Bank in New Orleans; Northeast Region Representative Michael R. Vizard, president and chief executive officer of Cross Keys Bank in St. Joseph; and LBA Chief Executive Officer Robert T. Taylor.
