Louisiana Bankers Association Elects 2009-2010 Officers, Board Members

BATON ROUGE— Boyd R. Boudreaux, president and chief executive officer of Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank in New Orleans, was installed as the 2009-2010 chairman of the Louisiana Bankers Association during the 109th Annual LBA Convention & Exposition, held on May 13-15.
Boudreaux succeeds Jerome Vascocu, president and chief executive officer of Richland State Bank in Rayville. As outgoing LBA chairman, Vascocu will continue to serve for one year as immediate past chairman on the LBA board of directors.
Delegates to the LBA convention also confirmed new officers and elected directors.
Chairman-elect: Albert C. Christman, president and chief executive officer of Guaranty Bank and Trust in Delhi
Treasurer: Reginald H. Smith, president and chief executive officer of Metairie Bank and Trust
Northwest Region Representative: Thomas Martin, president of Gibsland Bank and Trust
Northeast Region Representative: Michael Vizard, president and chief executive officer of Cross Keys Bank in St. Joseph
