The annual LBA Salary and Benefits Survey is a compilation of current salaries and benefits for common positions within Louisiana's financial institutions. The survey can be a vital tool when determining competitive pay and benefits for employee recruitment and retention.
All LBA members are invited to participate in the survey, and those participating receive a complimentary copy of the survey report. Non-participating member banks are able to purchase the survey for $275; non-member cost is $375.
The survey includes an average bonus, average salary, minimum salary and maximum salary for each position. These positions are categorized four different ways: asset size, metropolitan area, return on assets and return on equity. There is also information on health, dental and life insurance in the benefits category.

Cluster Reports
In order to obtain more competitive and specific information, banks often want to compare their salaries to a select group of other banks. To help banks make this comparison, cluster reports are available to survey recipients.
Clusters are a comparison of salary and benefits for a peer group that recipients select. Each custom report is $150. Recipients can select as many clusters as they want, with each cluster having between six and 15 institutions.
Clusters are available to Louisiana financial institutions that have received or purchased a survey. For more information on purchasing a cluster, contact Ginger Laurent at laurent@lba.org or 225/387-3282.
Cluster Reports can be purchased online at http://www.creativecompsolutions.com/.
1) Enter the system with your login name and password.
2) Click on “Cluster Reports Generation”
3) Click on “Accept” to accept the fee of $150
4) Select the banks you want included in your report.
5) Click “Set Up” at the bottom of the list.
6) Click on “Generate PDF report”
7) It may take several minutes for your report to appear depending on the speed of your computer. Please save or print the report for you records. An invoice will be sent to you for the report.
