Crestmark Commercial Capital is an accounts receivable factoring company with its operations headquartered in Louisiana. It specializes in working with bankers to assist them with lines of credit for their commercial borrowers, when the bank cannot extend, renew or increase a line of credit for a new applicant or for an existing borrower. (Oftentimes, the bank benefits by removing a classified loan from its portfolio.) Through an extensive process of evaluating and enhancing invoice documentation and establishing credit limits for a client's customers, Commercial Capital is able to approve a factoring line of credit, when the borrower's financials do not justify a bank line of credit. At such time as the borrower's financials improve, the bank has maintained the deposit and other relationships. Commercial Capital also provides overlines; whereby, the bank keeps its existing line of credit and Commercial Capital takes the overage. Or, if the bank wishes, Commercial Capital can take the whole line and sell a participation back to the bank.

EnviroScore is a report that scores commercial loans according to their environmental liability risks—similar to a credit score. No other product can exceed EnviroScore. It is the least expensive, easiest-to-understand and fastest environmental due diligence tool on the market. EnviroScore is better than expensive insurance products, which provide limited coverage for major losses but cannot exempt banks from FDIC and SBA compliance requirements. It is also better than Phase I reports, which are costly and time-consuming, and therefore not competitive for most loans. An EnviroScore report provides all required information for a cost of $550, compared to an industry average of $2,000 for a typical Phase I environmental assessment. EnviroScore reports have an index score that interprets all conclusive technical data so there is no need to review an extensive report…and with a turn-around time of 48 hours, it is the industry leader.
