The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) is not new for financial institutions; however, a significant update went into effect in June 2023. While the FFIEC and supervisory agencies like the FDIC and OCC interpret the regulation and issue guidance for banks, it is important to understand what has changed within the GLBA and the implications they may have on your institution.
